IMPULSE Edition 400

Wide range of functions
The IMPULSE Care bed offers extensive functions to provide maximum safety and comfort for residents and care staff .
Fall-prone residents in particular benefit from the low position 1 of the IMPULSE, as the bed height significantly reduces the risk of injury due to falling
out of bed. Other innovative fall prevention features are described on pages 10/11.
The transfer position 1 provides a comfortable intermediate height for optimal entry and exit at sitting level. Combined with the mobilization position of the side rails, residents can get into and out of bed comfortably, safely and independently. Ergonomic, back-friendly working is an important aspect for maintaining the health of care staff .
The working height position makes it possible to maintain an upright posture while caring for residents. Automatic keys on the hand controller move the sleeping surface into a comfortable, upright sitting
position.
The comfort sitting position has a positive effect on vital functions, facilitates orientation for residents and enables them to communicate with each other.
The Trendelenburg position can assist with stabilizing residents with circulatory problems. The motorised adjustment in the head-lowering device enables quick action.
The vertically retractable, split side rail system (VGS) with four height positions can be used flexibly to suit a wide range of application scenarios. The advantages of the telescopic version lie primarily in its compact design, which does not require any space at the side, as well as the extended fall prevention position. The high-quality anodized aluminium version with a solid wood handrail provides maximum stability and underlines the high product quality of the IMPULSE.
Choose from six different designs to find a suitable head/foot board. Combined with attractive wood veneers (Page 20 of the brochure), you’ll enjoy creative freedom when designing your project.
