CuroCell® A4 Plus has been developed to allow healthcare professionals to focus on patient-centered care. Using artificial intelligence (AI) and high precision sensors, the system continuously monitors the individual’s weight, height, and position, adapting to each individual.
If the patient shifts in position, the system reacts and adjusts the contact pressure between the patient and the support surface. The outcome is enhanced comfort, reduced risk of cell damage as well as decreased necessity for manual handling. This, in turn, simplifies the caregivers process, ensuring a smoother experience for all involved.
Key Features:
- Integrated heel function – The support surface is designed with an integrated heel function, where air cells are slightly lower to alleviate pressure on the heels.
- To ensure robustness and durability – The support surface is constructed using TPU coated nylon cells to ensure durability.
- Designed for enhanced comfort – The support surface is designed with a soft inner cover for additional comfort.
- In the event of a CPR-situation – Disconnect the CPR connection from the control unit and leave the lid open to quickly deflate the mattress.
Key Functions:
- Pulsating Mode™: Uses AI to combine soft, alternating movements with low pressure for reduced peak pressure and a larger contact area. Clinically effective for pressure ulcer prevention.
- Gentle Alternating Low Pressure (GALP): Alternates air pressure and soft movements to relieve pressure, preventing pressure injuries.
- Constant Low Pressure (CLP): Even pressure distribution across the surface with no alternating air cells.
- Maximum Pressure (Caring Mode): Provides stability for bed entry/exit and patient care, returning to prior settings after 20 minutes.
- Pack & Go: Control unit deflates the surface in 20 minutes for easy transport.
- Comfort Settings: Two-stage air pressure adjustment to meet patient comfort preferences.
