Northland Community OT Linda Clement received a beautifully crafted feedback report from a client and his whanau that we thought worth sharing!
Linda provides ongoing support to Heke Morunga and his whanau, who say she “has always been there” for them. We were lucky enough to be part of a team that recently worked with Linda to find solutions to help Heke.
Heke’s whanau reports back, “Due to our brother being a single limb amputee and having a problem with slings, we were recommended to change the hoist to a Sonata 150 yoke. Edward from Active Healthcare came to deliver Heke’s new hoist and slings. The opportunity to trial the new hoist and slings has helped immensely.”
“Heke has expressed how much more comfortable and safe he feels when being transferred and his caregivers are so stoked knowing that their backs will last a lot longer and that there is no second lift to keep him upright on his wheelchair” say Heke’s whanau.
In showing his gratitude to Linda, suppliers and agencies Heke says; “Nga mihi nui. Words cannot express how grateful I am with these wonderful blessings. I am very happy with all the equipment and I am so pleased my sisters are safe and can continue to care for me in my own home. Again thank you very, very much”.
A very big thank you to Heke and the Morunga whanau for taking the time to provide this heart-warming feedback.
