The Basic Comfort High sling is used for lifts to and from both lying positions and sitting positions, (in a bed, on the floor, etc.) Not only is this lifting sling is suitable for most users, but it can also be used for lifts with the leg straps overlapped under both legs – when lifting single- or double amputees, for instance – or used to provide individual/separate leg support for patients who are particularly sensitive to pressure.
The lower part of the sling is lined with Spacer material for extra support around the hips. Two extra loops have been added to the leg straps, which can be used to help keep users’ thighs in a neutral position, or to make space for hygiene procedures between their legs.
The Guldmann Basic Comfort High sling is available in several sizes and is made from polyester net / spacer material, which can be used as a bathing sling. There is also a pressure care version of the sling which is made out of a special mesh material in grey to allow for better pressure care comfort, please select the mesh option or let our team know you are looking for pressure care when you place an order or quote.
