An Automatic Turning System: TurnAll.
The TurnAll System turns a standard bed into an automated lateral turning bed to prevent pressure injuries. Developed to support clinicians and carers in the regular turning of primary immobile patients – especially those who are at risk of developing pressure injuries.
Turning patients at regular intervals can prevent pressure injuries and promote faster recovery times. TurnAll lateral turning system is developed to turn patients at 30, 60 or 90 minute intervals determined by their caregiver and setting. The TurnAll sits underneath the existing mattress to work intelligently for you.
While preventing pressure injuries, this solution also prevents manual handling and the demand placed on caregivers to move patients according to their recovery needs. Clinical practice guidelines recommend regular repositioning of at least two hours for patients with reduced mobility (NICE GUIDLINE 2015).

The 2019 International pressure ulcer guidelines ( EPUAP,NPIAP, PPPIA) recommend the use of the 30° lateral side lying position.
