Celebrating our OT Heroes

This October we acknowledge Occupational Therapists (or OTs) are problem solvers or innovators as part of World OT Day (27th October). They are experts in enabling all kinds of people to enjoy everyday activities, such as self-care, work, education and leisure. Masters of healthcare technology and human function, these highly skilled professionals rely on our product range to help them with their important job functions. World OT Day, which takes place during World OT Week,  is a time to reflect and acknowledge the important role OTs play.

1 in 4 New Zealanders are limited by a physical, sensory, learning, mental health or other impairment, and a large number of these individuals will be assisted by an OT. Further to this, OTs work in community, hospitals, residential care homes and other healthcare establishments to help people who might be temporarily impacted by an injury. The fact is, OTs are in big demanded and are needed everywhere.

Active Healthcare has been a pioneer in the healthcare industry, and we will continue to support OTs. We work alongside OTs to identify product solutions that can help in their work. In recognising this we have developed a limited number of complimentary posters to give away this OT week.

If you would like to request a poster, please let us know. Or click here to download the poster artwork.

Two poster versions are available:

We will be giving these posters out at Show Your Ability next week, Christchurch 17th October, and Dunedin 18th October.
