Active Healthcare was delighted to welcome the Counties Manukau District Adult Community Team to our Experience Centre for an engaging and informative session.
Upon entry, the team got to see our 4-point and 2-point gantry hoists. With Chris’s knowledge, our gantry hoist expert – they learned more about them, their differences, benefits and applications in different healthcare settings.
Inside our Experience Centre showroom, Conor and Nathan led insightful discussions on the moving and handling of bariatric patients, covering best practices and safety considerations. We used our Aspire Maxi Lifestyle bed, the brand new Curocell A4 Plus mattress and the Tencel Repositioning Sling for this demonstration.
It was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and enhance safe patient handling techniques.
In addition, the team had the opportunity to see our range of M2 Commodes like the M2 400kg El-Tip Commode. They also explored other models within the range and were impressed by the adaptability of the commodes, especially with the wide selection of accessories available to meet different patient needs.
The visit was met with great enthusiasm, and Briar Day, a member of the team, shared her positive feedback about the experience. She highlighted the live demonstrations of the slings, the expertise of our representatives, and the opportunity to see the M2 range of commode chairs as standout aspects of the session.
